Where Is The Time Going?!

First week of April is already gone! I can’t believe it. I’m not the only one who seems to be in shock about how fast time is flying by us these days, subhanalaah. Almost every day or every other day I hear someone mentioning something about how fast the time seems to be going. Just recently, I heard someone say “it’s like February and March didn’t even happen!” That’s exactly how I feel too. Any way, are you wondering yet why I’m going on and on about how fast time seems to be going by?

As time goes or rather zooms by us, our babies are like wise growing up really fast too. It seems like it was just yesterday that my baby was a newborn, and now he’s already seven months old! My point is, they’re not always going to be newborns, toddlers or kids. It is then important that we truly enjoy our children in their baby and toddler stages because before we know it they will be all grown up and out of our homes, busy with their own lives.

  1. Aaah! Masha’allah. I went like “ditto!” on reading this post.

Alhamdulillah, at your baby growing healthy and well. May he always grow up to be strong, healthy and pious. On a lighter note, I am 23 and my mother still says that just sometime back I was a toddler. She wonders where these years flew! Haha.

  2. That’s true, I can’t believe it, my baby is 6 years old now. In the first day of his birth, he slept on my stomach. This time when he tries to sleep on my stomach, his body is too long, till my legs.
    “you grew so fast!” Alhamdulillah.

Mashaa’Allah! I completely understand. Time goes extremely fast subhan’Allah. May Allah bless our time for us so we may be able to take advantage of it.

🙂 such a sweet post, sA. I agree, not only do I feel the same about my children’s growth, but looking at my parents, it seems so hard to see them age. May Allah protect our generations and keep them in His shade and mercy.
